LMP has successfully advised Wrap & Roll Joint Stock Company (“Wrap & Roll”) in the sale of equity stake to Mekong Enterprise Fund III (“MEF III”). The announced transaction value is $6,9 million.
Wrap & Roll was established in 2006 by two entrepreneurial friends in their early-30’s. The Company is now recognized as the pioneer and the top healthy Vietnamese traditional food chain company in Vietnam. Their own unique selling points are reflected by a new way of enjoying Vietnamese cuisine and concept together with a distinguished service manner. In June 2017, Wrap & Roll has officially changed the name into Red Wok Cuisine Joint Stock Company.
MEF III focuses on investments in Vietnamese consumer-driven businesses such as retail, restaurants, consumer products, and consumer services as well as invest in companies involved in the convergence between online and offline, especially in the retail space.
The investment from MEF III has helped to bring the financial potential of Wrap & Roll to new heights as well as exploiting more of the intrinsic strength of a typical business representing Vietnamese cuisine.
